Levenda James is a public safety communications professional with more than 26 years of service with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office. Her career reflects a passion for leadership, training, quality assurance, professional development, and mentorship. As an active member of the Florida Association of Women Law Enforcement Professionals (FAWLEP), Levenda is committed to empowering women to recognize their potential, pursue leadership opportunities, and thrive both personally and professionally. She believes in leading through service, perseverance, mentorship, and creating opportunities for others to succeed.
