STANDING COMMITTEES
Awards Committee
Administers FAWLEP's awards and recognition programs and recommends honorees to the Executive Board. This committee helps FAWLEP recognize leadership, professional achievement, service, and contributions that support the Association's mission.
Membership Committee
Supports membership growth and retention, reviews membership applications, and recommends membership-related policies. The committee also plays an important role in helping prospective and current members understand how to engage with FAWLEP.
Scholarship Committee
Manages FAWLEP's scholarship programs, reviews scholarship applications, and recommends scholarship recipients. Its work supports educational opportunities and the development of future professionals.
Nominations Committee
Manages nominations and election procedures in accordance with FAWLEP's By-Laws. This committee supports an organized and fair process for Association leadership elections.
Training & Development Committee
Identifies and delivers educational programs aligned with FAWLEP's goals. This may include professional development, leadership education, workshops, speakers, and other learning opportunities.
Conferences & Events Committee
Plans and coordinates FAWLEP conferences, events, networking opportunities, member gatherings, and other Association programs.
Public Relations & Communications
FAWLEP currently has a Public Relations Chair. Members interested in communications may have opportunities to support organizational messaging, member stories, event promotion, photography, media, website content, and social media.
